Windows 11 Pro Review
Windows 11. The main part of this announcement was supposed to be the introduction of a significant user interface change called Valley of the Sun. As we know, a large part of the UX changes will be borrowed from the Windows 10X skin, and Windows 10X will not reach the market. Now, as expected, the Windows 11 leaks begin.

Windows 11 Pro features
Windows 11 will get a completely new look. It’s clear that Microsoft needs a good reason to abandon previous claims and continue to abandon Windows 10 with a new OS number. And the brand new look is perfect for that. The Redmond giant has long been preparing a new look for an update called Sun Valley (“Valley of the Sun”) – apparently, this was the name of Windows 11. The Sun Valley project has been shining on the Internet for a long time, with Microsoft regularly revealing details about new interface styles, insiders sharing previously unknown information, and popular designers in their circle drawing realistic concepts based on all this data.
Startup and system items will float above the bottom bar. Start is the calling card and face of every latest version of Windows. It is not surprising that in the Windows 11 operating system, the developers will transform it again, but not so much in terms of functionality, but visually – the Start window will float above the bottom bar. True, this small change makes the system look much fresher. Judging by information from the Internet, Microsoft will not radically change the “interior” of this menu – the innovations will affect only the appearance of the window itself. The control panel will also float and look exactly like Start. The Action Center will be combined with control buttons, something similar has been used for a long time in some other operating systems. Almost all mentions of this new menu indicate that it will be island-like, with controls on one separate panel, notifications on another, and specific items (like the player) on yet another.
The steep corners will disappear and be replaced by rounded corners. The truth is that insiders and creators of concepts disagree on this issue – some are convinced that Microsoft will not change its traditions and stick to right angles, others – that Microsoft will jump to the round trend in 2021. The latter fits more into the definition of “completely new windows” – menus floating above the screen alone are not enough to make a new design truly new. Rounding should affect almost everything in the system, from context menus and system panels to all application windows. True, even in this matter, the opinions of concept developers differ – some draw curves in all possible interface elements, others combine them with right angles.
There will be a transparent background with blur everywhere. There is disagreement on the Internet about the island style of windowing, the design of corners and the levitation effect of menus, but almost everyone agrees on the transparency of windows. The vast majority of leaks and design renders show transparency and blur in all windows, whether it’s at least the Start menu or the browser. Moreover, these effects are present even when installing the canceled Windows 10X operating system, which Microsoft developed for dual-screen devices and weak apps in parallel with the Sun Valley project. The so-called acrylic transparency means the use of new effects when hovering over elements, as well as increased spaces between elements – those areas of the interface with which the user interacts will certainly become larger, and page titles will be bolder.
A new font that has already been shown. Windows 11 will likely use the default responsive Segoe UI Variable font, which already appeared in Windows 10 Build 21376 for Insiders.
