Scenario
After being released from prison, mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi goes to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a group of unusual characters. Sylvester Stallone’s first lead role in a television series. Dwight “The General” Manfredi: I don’t go to church at all.

The opening credits show various photographic and painted views, as well as Oklahoma landmarks, superimposed on the New York landscape: A statue of the Sioux Indian chief “Touch the Clouds” wearing a military headdress and a bone choker necklace (breastplate), set atop the Brooklyn Bridge. The Western Gateway Arch on Highway 66, set on the main “avenue” of Manhattan. In New York, in the Manhattan area, there are several numbered “avenues” that intersect with smaller, numbered streets..

The classic fish-out-of-water scenario is well played
And the first episode does an excellent job of setting up what looks like an all-star cast. From the very beginning, the plot begins to intertwine. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised.
There is no computer graphics to be sure
We’ll see how the season unfolds, but so far it’s a big change of pace compared to some other series debuts lately. Only great characters, authentic dialogues, a clever story and a first-class cast.
